Downtown

I spent most of today on Lesley's annual shopping trip.

I only bought a handful of things, going mainly for the company and the lunch; but one thing I've bought and really like is a dress to wear to the wedding next week. It was the first thing I tried on. It's has a cream underdress with rose-coloured flowers and a see-through black overdress with delicate embroidery. It's straight and close fitting and I think it looks very grown up!

I have visions of my hair in a french roll and wearing strappy sandals, nibbling finger food in some gorgeous reception room. We'll see...
