(Once in a ) Blue Moon

The holidays have been jammed packed so far. I've done a few things that I only get to do once in a blue moon....
1) Bruce and I went to a wedding, and we did get to dance.
2) We stayed for two nights in town, to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary; bookshops, bushwalks, ferry rides, live music, luna park, an African restaurant, breakfast in a ballroom, photography and the Observatory.
3) We're painting the back spare room (as opposed to the front spare room. Sounds like a big house, doesn't it? ) And we're doing a feature wall tomorrow. Olive green. Bold olive green. If I don't chicken out!
4) Bruce invited three of his astronomy friends over for tea. We got to look at the sun through a solarscope, some tried the barbequed kangaroo, and Bruce had a personal crash course in manipulating his star images on the computer.
Oh, and I've finished reading "High Fidelity" by Nick Hornby and "Secret River" by Kate Grenville.
I wonder what the second week will hold....

hello jo-anne!
i really like this blog of yours! especially 'rainy days and mondays'. You're a good writer :) You should start a book, called... the chronicles of the Reardons.
Or something a little more flash, like, the world through jo-anne's eyes..
*inspirational glance *

The room looks great at your house! And how was the African restaurant? I love Africa!
Hope you had fun last night!
